Aducanumab (Genetical Recombination)



Aducanumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human amyloid beta peptide, whose C-terminal Lys residue is deleted in the H-chain. Aducanumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Aducanumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 453 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
