Alemtuzumab (Genetical Recombination)



Alemtuzumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from rat anti-human CD52 antibody and framework regions and constant regions derived from human IgG1. Alemtuzmab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Alemtuzumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca.150,000) consisting of two light chains (κ-chain) with 214 amino acid residues and two heavy chains (γ1-chain) with 450 amino acid residues.
