Avelumab (Genetical Recombination)



Avelumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). Avelumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Avelumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 147,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 450 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (λ-chains) consisting of 216 amino acid residues each.
