Benralizumab (Genetical Recombination)
Benralizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from mouse anti-human interleukin-5 receptor α subunit monoclonal antibody and framework regions and constant regions derived from human IgG1. Benralizumab is produced in glycoprotein 6-α-L-fucosyltransferase-deficient Chinese hamster ovary cells. Benralizumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 148,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 451 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
