Bepirovirsen Sodium is a sodium salt of a gapmer antisense oligonucleotide inducing target RNA degradation, whose sequence is complementary to a common region of all types of mRNA including the pregenomic RNA produced by hepatitis B virus (HBV). Bepirovirsen Sodium consists of partially chemically modified 20 nucleotide residues.
