Eptinezumab (Genetical Recombination)



Eptinezumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from rabbit anti-human calcitonin gene-related peptides (CGRP) monoclonal antibody, human framework regions and human IgG1 constant regions. In the H-chain, the amino acid residues at positions 207 and 291 are substituted by Ala each. Eptinezumab is a protein composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 441 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 219 amino acid residues each.
