Fremanezumab (Genetical Recombination)
Fremanezumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from mouse anti-human calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody, human framework regions and human IgG2 constant regions. In the H-chain, Ala331 and Pro332 are substituted by Ser each. Fremanezumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Fremanezumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca.148,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ2-chains) consisting of 448 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
