Gantenerumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human amyloid beta peptide. Gantenerumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Gantenerumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 153,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 456 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 215 amino acid residues each.
