Insulin Icodec (Genetical Recombination)
Insulin Icodec is a recombinant human insulin analogue, in which amino acid residues are substituted at 3 positions (A-chain: Y14E, B-chain: Y16H, F25H), C-terminal T30 of B-chain is deleted, and the ε-amino group of K29 of B-chain is acylated with (22S)-22,42-dicarboxy-10,19,24-trioxo-3,6,12,15-tetraoxa-9,18,23-triazadotetracontan-1-oyl group. Insulin Icodec is a modified peptide composed of an A-chain consisting of 21 amino acid residues and a B-chain consisting of 29 amino acid residues.
