Ixekizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementaritydetermining regions derived from mouse anti-human interleukin-17 monoclonal antibody and framework regions and constant regions derived from human IgG4, and Ser residue at position 227 is substituted by Pro residue and C-terminus Lys residue is deleted in the H-chains. Ixekizumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Ixekizumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca.149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ4-chains) consisting of 445 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 219 amino acid residues each.
