Lebrikizumab (Genetical Recombination)

Lebrikizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from mouse anti-human interleukin-13 monoclonal antibody and framework regions and constant regions derived from human IgG4, whose amino acid residue at position 226 in the H-chain is substituted by Pro. Lebrikizumab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Lebrikizumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 148,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ4-chains) consisting of 445 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 218 amino acid residues each.
