Natalizumab (Genetical Recombination)
Natalizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody composed of complementarity-determining regions derived from mouse anti-human α4 integrin monoclonal antibody and framework regions and constant regions derived from human IgG4. Natalizumab is produced in mouse myeloma (NS0) cells. Natalizumab is glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ4-chains) consisting of 450 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 213 amino acid residues each.
