Nirsevimab (Genetical Recombination)
Nirsevimab is a recombinant anti-human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) F protein monoclonal antibody derived from human IgG1. In the H-chain, amino acid residues at positions 261, 263 and 265 are substituted by Tyr, Thr and Glu, respectively. Nirsevimab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Nirsevimab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 456 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
