Sirukumab (Genetical Recombination)



Sirukumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against the human interleukin-6. Sirukumab is produced in mouse myeloma (NS0) cells. Sirukumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 147,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 449 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 213 amino acid residues each.
