Sotrovimab (Genetical Recombination)
Sotrovimab is a recombinant anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike protein monoclonal antibody derived from human IgG1. In the H-chain, the amino acid residues at positions 438 and 444 are substituted by Leu and Ser, respectively. Sotrovimab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Sotrovimab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight:ca. 149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 457 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (λ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
