Vamikibart (Genetical Recombination)



Vamikibart is a recombinant anti-interleukin-6 monoclonal antibody whose complementarity-determining regions are derived from mouse antibody and other regions are derived from human IgG2. In the H-chain, the amino acid residue is substituted at 1 position (H311A). Vamikibart is produced in CHO cells. Vamikibart is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 149,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ2-chains) consisting of 448 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 218 amino acid residues each.
