Avacincaptad Pegol Sodium is a sodium salt of an aptamer derivative against complement C5, to which a methoxy polyethylene glycol (molecular weight: ca. 43,000) is bound via a linker at the 5’ end. The aptamer moiety is composed of a single oligonucleotide of partially chemically modified 39 nucleotide residues.
