ネシツムマブは，ヒト上皮成長因子受容体に対する遺伝子組換えヒトIgG1 モノクローナル抗体である． ネシツムマブは，マウスミエローマ（NS0）細胞により産生される．ネシツムマブは，451 個のアミノ酸 残基からなるH 鎖（γ1 鎖）2 本及び214 個のアミノ酸残基からなるL 鎖（κ鎖）2 本で構成される糖タン パク質（分子量：約148,000）である．

Necitumumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human epidermal growth factor receptor. Necitumumab is produced in mouse myeloma (NS0) cells. Necitumumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 148,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 451 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
