ラムシルマブは，ヒト血管内皮増殖因子受容体2 の細胞外領域に対する遺伝子組換えヒトIgG1 モノクローナル抗体である．ラムシルマブは，マウスミエローマ細胞（NS0）により産生される．ラムシルマブは，446 個のアミノ酸残基からなるH 鎖（γ1 鎖）2 本及び214 個のアミノ酸残基からなるL 鎖（κ鎖）2 本で構成される糖タンパク質（分子量：約147,000）である．

Ramucirumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody against the extracellular domain of the human vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2. Ramucirumab is produced in mouse myeloma (NS0) cells. Ramucirumab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 147,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chain) consisting of 446 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chain) consisting of 214 amino acid residues each.
