本品の本質は，遺伝子組換えヒトインターロイキン－2であり，133個のアミノ酸残基からなるタンパク質である．本品は，水溶液である．
本品は定量するとき，1 mL当たり0.5 〜 1.5 mgのタンパク質を含み，タンパク質1 mg当たり8.0×10⁶単位以上を含む．

Celmoleukin (Genetical Recombination) is a recombinant human interleukin-2, and is a protein consisting of 133 amino acid residues. It is a solution.
It contains not less than 0.5 and not more than 1.5 mg of protein per mL, and 1 mg of this protein contains potency not less than 8.0 × 10⁶ units.
