レカネマブは，遺伝子組換え抗ヒトアミロイドベータペプチドモノクローナル抗体であり，その相補性決定部はマウス抗体に由来し，その他はヒトIgG1に由来する．レカネマブは，チャイニーズハムスター卵巣細胞により産生される．レカネマブは，454個のアミノ酸残基からなるH鎖（γ1鎖）2本及び219個のアミノ酸残基からなるL鎖（κ鎖）2本で構成される糖タンパク質（分子量：約150,000）である．

Lecanemab is a recombinant anti-human amyloid beta peptide monoclonal antibody, the complementarity-determining regions of which are derived from mouse antibody and other regions are derived from human IgG1. Lecanemab is produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Lecanemab is a glycoprotein (molecular weight: ca. 150,000) composed of 2 H-chains (γ1-chains) consisting of 454 amino acid residues each and 2 L-chains (κ-chains) consisting of 219 amino acid residues each.
